Hooray for Spring! Palm Springs that is . . .

Trina Turks dramatic collection of indoor/outdoor prints for Schumacher, many of which were originally designed for her resort collections, are inspired by the poolside lifestyle of Los Angeles and Palm Springs, and also the variety of cultural influences and landscapes that are found in California. Bold geometric patterns are mixed with prints derived from natural motifs, and also designs discovered in Trina’s extensive collection of vintage apparel. The color palette of this collection is fashion-influenced; bright and breezy shades of turquoise, citron, watermelon and marine are combined with smart neutrals such as sand dune and charcoal, giving these outdoor suitable prints a thoroughly modern appeal. These are our delicious picks for spring/summer 2009!

Suzani fabrics at Donghia

Suzani is a traditional decorative textile typically woven in silk and cotton during the 19th century in Central Asia. The Donghia design team has captured this time-honored art in an amazing woven textile while still staying true to the integrity of a Suzani blanket.

Unexpected and updated colors make Suzani an excellent choice for small and large upholstery projects. We simply love the pink and green colorway!
